How to get to our new location via bus
- From the SE 6th Street METS Bus Terminal downtown, take the 5A – Mary bus.
- Get off at the bus stop next to White Oak Manor apartments on the corner of W Virginia St and N St. Joseph Ave.
- Walk one block East on West Virginia St.
- Turn right onto N 12th
- You will see a colorful Pay It Forward Local sign at the corner of N 12th Ave and W Michigan St.
Peace Zone, founded in 2012, is a peer-run recovery center that reaches out to individuals 18+ who are struggling with mental health and/or addiction issues.
Peace Zone is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides valuable programs and recovery support groups, arts empowerment opportunities, peer-mentoring, poetry, journaling & other wellness groups, as well as hospital outreach and community educational forums that are free and open the public.
Since inception, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve and spreading the message of hope and empowering and supporting individuals in their daily journey towards recovery.
Peace Zone’s mission is to promote mental health wellness and recovery and to educate the community about mental health issues.
